Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use GoodRips. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

You can sign up with an email and password or through Google OAuth. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Any activity under your account is your responsibility.

Please use accurate information when creating your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that use false information or violate these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the app
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's infrastructure
• Upload malicious content or misuse any feature
• Resell or redistribute data obtained through the app
• Misrepresent simulated pack pulls as real-world card ownership (see Section 6)

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these rules.

GoodRips is free to use. We also offer an optional GoodRips Pro subscription that unlocks additional features.

Pricing. Pro costs $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year. Prices may change with reasonable notice.

Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period.

Cancellation. You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your profile. When you cancel you keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period, then your account reverts to the free tier.

Refunds. Because digital services are delivered immediately, we generally do not offer refunds. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@goodrips.com and we'll work with you.

You own your data. Session logs, pull records, and any other content you create in GoodRips belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your data.

You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to operate the app and provide the service to you.

You can export or delete your data at any time. Deleting your account permanently removes all of your data from our systems.

GoodRips includes a pack-opening simulator. Simulated sessions are stored in your account so you can track a simulated collection, but they are clearly distinguished from real rip sessions.

Simulated pulls have no monetary value and do not represent ownership of any physical card. Pull rates are best-effort approximations based on publicly available information and may differ from actual retail product. You may not misrepresent simulated pulls as real-world card ownership in any context (trades, sales, social posts, or otherwise).

The GoodRips app, including its design, code, logo, and branding, is owned by GoodRips LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the app without our written permission.

Trading card game names, card images, and related trademarks belong to their respective owners (e.g., The Pokemon Company, Wizards of the Coast). GoodRips is not affiliated with or endorsed by any card game publisher.

GoodRips relies on third-party services to function, including:

• Stripe for payment processing
• Pokemon TCG API, Scryfall, and TCGPlayer for card pricing data

These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or practices. Card pricing data is provided as-is and may not reflect real-time market values.

GoodRips may include affiliate links to third-party retailers such as TCGPlayer. We may earn a commission on purchases made through those links at no additional cost to you.

GoodRips is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Card pricing data, pull rate estimates, simulated pack contents, and expected value calculations are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon for financial decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoodRips LLC and its officers, members, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

Informal resolution first. If you have a dispute with us, please contact support@goodrips.com so we can try to resolve it. We'll do the same before pursuing any formal action against you. Most issues can be worked out directly within 60 days.

Binding arbitration.Any dispute not resolved informally within 60 days shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in Pennsylvania or remotely, at the arbitrator's discretion. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Class action waiver. You and GoodRips LLC agree to resolve disputes only on an individual basis. You waive the right to participate in a class, collective, or representative action.

Small claims exception.You may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies under that court's rules.

Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@goodrips.com within 30 daysof first accepting these Terms with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out." Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.

You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. We may also suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we need to discontinue the service. If we terminate your account without cause, we will provide a pro-rated refund for any unused portion of a paid subscription.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top and may notify you via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of GoodRips after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Subject to the Dispute Resolution & Arbitration section above, any action that may be brought in court shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
